Committee Chairs
Natalie R. Chiovitti is a Canadian interdisciplinary communication designer and visual artist. She engages in material and digital approaches to designing zines, artists' books, exhibits, and visual identities. She explores themes of sustainability, consumerism, environmental communication, and community. Her current work explores how communication design can support sustainable fashion consumption practices of reduce, repair, and reuse. Natalie is a second-year student in the Master of Design (Interdisciplinary) program at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. She has an Honours Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM), double majoring in Communication, Culture, Information and Technology; & Art and Art History. Natalie integrates her work as a graphic designer in marketing / advertising, publishing, and education fields.
Hello, my name is Marina Walsworth. I’m currently in my third year of the Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design at Algonquin College. I am a spirited, dedicated student driven by a deep passion for creativity in all its forms—from bold, impactful designs to the finer details that make each project unique. I’m excited to contribute my perspective to the dynamic world of visual communication and am always eager to take on new challenges, approaching each with passion, persistence, and an open mind. Hello bonjour! I'm a soon-to-be honours graduate from OCADU (graduating in May 2025). If I had to describe my practice, I'd say I'm a generalist. As I thrive working in fast-paced environments, with different challenges that utilise various mediums, such as print, web and animation. I'm currently working on replacing my private PDF portfolio with a public website portfolio that will launch at the beginning of the new year. If you'd like to see more of my work send me a message! Otherwise, if you've got some time in the beginning of May 2025, come see me at OCADU's GradEx #110. You'll get to see some of my work in person and that of my amazing peers. Plus, you can come to grab a copy of a small print run of my portfolio. I am a full-time second year Graphic Design student at Centennial College and a full-time Design Consultant for Activa Holdings. My skills are quickly growing through my education and work in the interior design field. My passion for graphic design and accessibility in design only grow stronger by the day. When I'm not busy being creative, I'm at home with my cat reading the latest romantasy novel to hit shelves and drinking a big cup of tea (always English Breakfast).
Hi Everyone, my name is Josiah. I am a second year Graphic Design student at Durham College. I am learning more about different areas of Graphic design while applying myself in different areas of life. I tend to focus on UX/UI work and am currently in the midst of creating a creative business surrounding my study as a student, but mainly as an artist and creative person.
Leen Bakri is an interdisciplinary designer based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Currently, she is studying at NSCAD University, specializing in various design disciplines such as graphic, print media, product, environmental, and digital design.
A multidisciplinary designer with a special interest in motion design and incorporating sustainable practices. I love bringing traditional art into the digital space and experimenting with new techniques.
Hi, I'm Richard. A student at the York University Design program graduating in 2027! I am a graphic artist and 3d modeller/sculptor. Some of my favourite projects include the 3D pen, packaging, and motion graphics!
